The chewing gum ban has been lifted in Singapore. Rejoice, says no one actually living in Singapore.
No one here is even talking about the lifting of the ban, because it’s almost inconsequential. I find it entirely hilarious that international reports claim that Singapore has been ‘living in fear’ because of the chewing gum ban. And then I find it doubly so when I remember that Americans can’t eat the joy that is Kinder Surprise.
